Fruit Hill Music Co. is a one-of-a-kind recording studio focusing on nurturing songwriters and their songs. An identity that could travel across digital and printed mediums with a visceral organic feel was needed to convey the analog musical orientation of the studio. The identity is built from visual cues of the hillside terrain as well as motifs that suggest the shape of sound. The logo mimics an analog VU meter as well as the hillside where the studio sits and was designed and illustrated by Lauren Bray.
