As Executive Creative Director at Merkle B2B, one of my pandemic challenges was how to get collaboration and inspiration happening while our teams were sequestered at home. Drawing from my years spearheading idea and innovation sessions and a pinch of Brian Eno's "Flexible Strategies" techniques, I created the "Never Before Cards". These cards are 52 prompts and ways to reframe briefs, challenges that lead to the creation of original ideas. This 52 card deck includes instructions and was a vital part of the Merkle B2B New Employee kit that I creative directed which received a ANA B2 creative award in 2022.
